After watching a movie with your children or students, we encourage parents and teachers to look for education opportunities to teach with movies. Here are a few discussion topics that can help with lesson plans or teaching in the home.
Elgin and David have worthwhile goals of earning money to help family and friends. What ways could they do this that would be better than the methods they have chosen? Is their dancing a viable way to earn a living, or is it distracting them from doing better things? How can you decide when a talent, like sports or performing, should be given priority over homework and more traditional ways to earn money?
