After watching a movie with your children or students, we encourage parents and teachers to look for education opportunities to teach with movies. Here are a few discussion topics that can help with lesson plans or teaching in the home.
This movie, like many horror films, deals with the afterlife. How does this fit into your personal views? Do horror movies depicting life after death offer a veiled religious message? Why is this state often seen as scary or evil? What are your beliefs about this topic?
What is more frightening to you in scary movies—the things you can see or the things you cannot. How does the camera work to keep you guessing what might be behind or beside you? How do sound cues help to support the fear factor?
