After watching a movie with your children or students, we encourage parents and teachers to look for education opportunities to teach with movies. Here are a few discussion topics that can help with lesson plans or teaching in the home.
How does the physical enjoyment of a relationship depend on its emotional aspects and the ability to completely trust your partner? How do these other elements increase the romantic relationship’s possibilities of improving one’s confidence?
When a former love interest of Lizzie’s confronts her and Peter, he makes derogatory comments about Peter’s age and Lizzie’s choice of man. In return Peter punches him. Lizzie responds by, thanking Peter for protecting her virtue. Was Peter justified in his actions? What “real-world” consequences would he face for his behavior?

Rod Gustafson has worked in various media industries since 1977. He founded Parent Previews in 1993, and today continues to write and broadcast the reviews in newspapers, on radio and (of course) on the Internet.
