After watching a movie with your children or students, we encourage parents and teachers to look for education opportunities to teach with movies. Here are a few discussion topics that can help with lesson plans or teaching in the home.
Woody must decide between the Roundup Gang and a predictable life of safety in a museum, or going home to good friends and accepting an uncertain future. Like Woody, there are times in our lives when we want to take the "safe" way out, rather than facing what we really need to do. Encourage your children to make a list of their greatest fears. Now make another list of things they can do to overcome obstacles that are holding them back from reaching their goals.
