Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas

After watching a movie with your children or students, we encourage parents and teachers to look for education opportunities to teach with movies. Here are a few discussion topics that can help with lesson plans or teaching in the home.

Although Sinbad and Proteus were childhood friends, they don’t have a lot in common as adults. Can you name some of their opposing character traits? Which aspect of their personalities does Marina find herself drawn to? What qualities do you value in relationships?

Throughout the film Sinbad battles between being a thief or a hero. What things did he do that proved he was a thief? What did he do to prove he was a hero? What kind of person do you predict he will be in the future?
