After watching a movie with your children or students, we encourage parents and teachers to look for education opportunities to teach with movies. Here are a few discussion topics that can help with lesson plans or teaching in the home.
Can comedy help us to better understand other cultures? Do Americans differ in what they find funny? What elements help to form our sense of humor?
What other ways can comedy be used in a positive manner? When can trying to be funny hurt others? Have you ever been offended by something someone else perceived as being humorous?
