After watching a movie with your children or students, we encourage parents and teachers to look for education opportunities to teach with movies. Here are a few discussion topics that can help with lesson plans or teaching in the home.
Could city hall approve the new development without input from Arnold’s community when most of the businesses and homes in the area appear to be owned? Would the contractors be able to start knocking down buildings while the residents were still in them?
How did the opening scenes of the movie portray an idealist view of the neighborhood? How did that compare with how the community looked after the explosion?
