After watching a movie with your children or students, we encourage parents and teachers to look for education opportunities to teach with movies. Here are a few discussion topics that can help with lesson plans or teaching in the home.
Felix suggests that while most people say there are two sides to every story, they don’t believe it. Why does he feel this way? Is it human nature for us to see things the way we want to rather than dig for the truth?
How does Felix’s unwillingness to confess his sins or mistakes to those who should know, keep him imprisoned in his guilt? Can holding offenses or grudges also keep a person from experiencing happiness? What things in your life would you change if given a chance?
How can age and distance from an event change our perspective about what happened? What do you hope others will say about you at your funeral? What are you doing today to ensure that?
