After watching a movie with your children or students, we encourage parents and teachers to look for education opportunities to teach with movies. Here are a few discussion topics that can help with lesson plans or teaching in the home.
How does Alvin’s disregard for rules affect everyone else? What does he learn about responsibility because of his decision?
How do the chipmunks describe themselves? How do we limit ourselves when we use one characteristic (such as beautiful, smart, responsible) to define ourselves? What does each of these little individuals learn about themselves while on the island?
