After his wife (Liv Tyler) falls into the clutches of a drug dealer (Kevin Bacon), Frank D'Arbo (Rainn Wilson) vows to get her back. Teaming up with a psychopathic teenager (Ellen Page), he creates the superhero persona known as Crimson Bolt and sets out to fight evil on the streets.
