Why Is You, Me and Dupree Rated PG-13?
Billed as a comedy, You, Me and Dupree relies on an abundance of sexual activities, frequent innuendo, rear male nudity and masturbation for much of its humor. Profanities, terms of Deity, an extreme sexual expletive, a rude hand gesture and scatological comments are contained in the script. Drinking, smoking and the occasional use of illegal drugs are portrayed not only in social settings but also as a way to deal with stress. Violence includes a man being hit with a heavy candlestick. Another character is involved in a car/cyclist accident.
