Why Is The Work and The Glory II: American Zion Rated PG-13?
Attempting to follow historical accounts of the religious persecution endured by members of the Mormon faith in 19th century America, the movie contains depictions of threats (both verbal and at gunpoint), beatings, lashings, tar-and-featherings, destruction of personal property, and forced evictions in inclement weather. These violent portrayals, although not gratuitous, may be disturbing to young viewers. Other areas of concern include a scene of childbirth, the death of an infant, and a woman pursued by an abusive husband. Gambling and drunkenness are also shown frequently, but not condoned.

Donna Gustafson has been involved with her husband Rod's work since the
beginning. Handling many of the behind-the-scenes tasks, she also creates
preview pages for up-coming movies, acts as managing editor and occasionally writes reviews.
