P.S. I Love You

Holly Kennedy (Hilary Swank) isn't sure what to do with her life when her husband Gerry (Gerard Butler) passes away. Apparently, her loving spouse realized this would be a problem, so he pre-recorded a few messages for Holly, to be delivered after his death. While his thoughtfulness comforts the grieving widow, Holly's mother (Kathy Bates) and friends (Gina Gershon and Lisa Kudrow) fear she'll never find happiness in the future if she keeps hanging onto the past. How We Determine Our Grades

Why Is P.S. I Love You Rated PG-13?

Dealing with the loss of her husband, Holly occasionally turns to alcohol, sometimes becoming drunk and vomiting. Other scenes include social drinking at parties and in a bar setting. During a marital spat, a man is hit with thrown objects. An accidental fall results in a bloody face and broken nose. A woman is repeatedly seen in her underwear and male posterior nudity is shown in a nonsexual context. The script includes frequent profanities, sexual orientation comments and discussions of male anatomy along with some crude and vulgar sexual dialogue.
