Why Is Premonition Rated PG-13?
Aimed at adults, this thriller has dead birds, suspenseful music, eerie moments of d0xE9j0xE0 vu and unexplained details that all add up to a creepy week for Linda Hanson who has a premonition her husband is about to die. A fiery car crash, bloody facial injuries on a child, a suspected adulterous relationship and a poorly handled funeral service create more tension for the sullen, stay-at-home mom who is briefly shown in bed with her husband. Alcohol use and some off-screen cigarette use are also included in the script, along with infrequent vulgarities and one extreme, sexual expletive.

Kerry Bennett is interested in media from both a journalist and parent perspective. Along with authoring articles for several family-oriented publications, she has written for Parent Previews for nearly 10 years. She serves as Vice President of the Alberta Association for Media Awareness. She and her husband Garry have four sons.
