Why Is The Pink Panther Rated PG?
Slapstick violence is a staple of this comedic film with characters being hit, electrocuted, run over, dragged behind vehicles and attacked by piranhas. Others run into objects and fall down stairs. On a more serious note, two characters are murdered, one with a poison dart and one by a bullet to the head. The script also contains several scenes of sexual innuendo and low cut female clothing. An older man prepares to take a sexual enhancement pill in anticipation of the evening’s events. Another character misconstrues a couple’s activities when he sees one of them performing the Heimlich maneuver. Several verbal exchanges involve suggestive subject matter. A few profanities and a brief portrayal of flatulence are also included.
