Why Is Peaceful Warrior Rated PG-13?
This film’s biggest content issues are sexual activity (a man and woman take their shirts off—she is seen in a bra), rude sexual humor, a couple kissing (they may both be females), and mild to moderate profanities along with terms of deity used as expletives. A dream sequence portrays a man’s leg disintegrating into pieces. Many scenes show university students drinking and becoming intoxicated. In one short scene, a man lights a cigar and pours a drink, then suggests smoking and alcohol consumption are okay as long as one has control over their addictive tendencies.
