An angry woman yells at a child and locks him in his room for punishment: he tries to get out by kicking the door. A child accidentally cuts his finger with a kitchen knife. Characters talk about a woman in a coma, and some mysterious scratches on her stomach. Depression is mentioned. A suicide is discussed, including some details about the ingested poison.
