Why Is One Day Rated PG-13?

Violence: Men fistfight with bloody injuries resulting. An accident leaves a character covered in blood.

Sexual Content: A male character discusses his lifestyle that involves sexual relationships with a variety of women (no consequences, such as sexual diseases, are ever discussed or mentioned). Naked male and female characters are briefly seen from a distance. A back view of a nude woman is briefly shown. A man and woman swim naked. Characters are seen in situations leading to implied sexual activity. Some non-explicit sexual discussions occur, including a talk about conception problems.

Language: Infrequent profanities include a single sexual expletive, a vulgar British term for sex, a couple of scatological terms, a crude term for male anatomy, and terms of deity.

Drugs/Alcohol: Characters consume alcohol frequently, especially the lead male character who drinks to avoid stress and is often intoxicated. A brief depiction of drug use is included.
