Why Is The Nanny Dairies Rated PG-13?
A young woman decides to put her business career on hold and instead pursue life on the Upper East Side of Manhattan working as a nanny. Domestic strife permeates this film as a wealthy couple deals with misplaced priorities and infidelity. Arguments and other confrontations include profanities (the sexual expletive is used once). Two brief sexual moments are depicted with passionate kissing, but no other detail. A woman’s underwear is accidentally revealed when she bends over. Men in a bar make crude sexual remarks about a woman. In a museum-like setting, a female mannequin is shown throwing up in a toilet, which is referred to as a “fasting ritual” for women. An alcoholic woman is depicted, and social drinking is included in other scenes.
