Why Is Miss Pettigrew Lives For A Day Rated PG-13?
This British comedy looks at one remarkable day in the life of Miss Pettigrew, a London governess who finds herself out of work and desperate for a new situation. Sexual content is the greatest concern with a leading female character having relationships with three men—one of whom we see lying naked in her bed (nude buttocks are shown). A freshly bathed woman is seen from the front holding a towel (her hips and the side of her body are exposed). Language is limited to a half dozen mild profanities. Some veiled sexual innuendos are heard. Men exchange punches with one another. Air raid sirens are heard causing people to seek shelter in a nightclub. Many characters are seen smoking tobacco products.
