Why Is Last Vegas Rated PG-13?
Violence: A character accused of stealing punches a boy in the face and then runs out of a store with a stolen item. A character taunts others. A man punches a drunken character causing a bloody nose. A man pushes another into a pool.
Sexual Content: A fitness instructor tells her class to “grind” it. A man makes a crude comment during a eulogy at a funeral. A woman gives her husband a condom and erection enhancement pill along with instructions to use them while he is away on a trip. He later takes a young girl to his bedroom where she undresses, revealing her bare back and part of her breast. A man asks for non-intercourse sexual activity. Male characters ogle women in minimal swimsuits and other scanty clothing. A man sells pictures of nearly-nude women. A man makes a pass at a cross-dresser in a bar. A man repeatedly thrusts his groin area at the face of another man. Women dance erotically at a nightclub. Frequent crude sexual jokes and terms for anatomy, along with sexual innuendo, are heard throughout the film. Men drink from the nipples of an ice sculpture shaped like a woman’s bare chest.
Language: The script contains a strong sexual expletive, frequent profanities, scatological slang, crude anatomical terms and the use of frequent crude nicknames.
Alcohol / Drug Use: Characters drink at a nightclub, in social settings and in their hotel room. Men pour alcohol into women’s mouths at a party. Some characters are portrayed as drunk. A man has an erection enhancement pill. A woman asks a man if he has drugs. A character drinks despite possible negative interactions with his prescription medicine.
