Why Is I’m In Love With A Church Girl Rated PG?

Violence: Characters engage in reckless driving and later a character is injured in a serious car accident. A man pulls out a gun to stop an altercation between a group of men. A man lies, yells and tries to deceive a girl’s parents. Characters discuss some of their past criminal activities.

Sexual Content: A couple kisses. Women in a nightclub make suggestive advances toward men. A man quotes Bible verses as a way to get a woman to sleep with him.

Language: The script contains brief language, including a man who speaks disrespectfully to Christian Deity while praying.

Alcohol / Drug Use:Much of the script centers on Miles’ past as a drug dealer. However he never faces any criminal punishment. Some scenes take place inside a nightclub where drinks are served. Characters are shown with alcohol.
