Why Is Gnomeo & Juliet Rated G?

Violence: Characters pit themselves against one another in lawnmower races. Garden tools are used during fights. Characters ambush others and destroy property. A man smashes into a wall. Another character is presumably hit by a truck in traffic. Characters prepare to attack others with garden chemicals. A dog kidnaps a character and attempts to bury him. Other characters are thrown, kicked down a sewer, scooped up by a frontend loader, hit with rocks and fruit, and buried under debris.

Sexual Content: A gnome wears a buttock-revealing swimsuit. Brief sexual innuendo is included. A character uses a woman’s bra to scale a chair.

Language: Characters engage in name-calling.
