This war movie contains many depictions of graphic injuries and violence involving guns. Characters are shot on screen and shown crashing to the ground. The use of suicide as a means to evade a more painful death is portrayed. Civilians are seen fleeing from enemy troops, and soldiers enter into a family’s house. A visit to a brothel, where women wear period lingerie, is depicted, but sexual activity is only implied.
