Why Is Extraordinary Measures Rated PG?
The script includes extensive discussions of pharmaceutical drugs and methods for their development. Some medical procedures are shown in both a home and hospital setting. Several characters argue with each other. A security officer pulls a gun on an intruder. A married couple is heard kissing passionately. A man drinks beer on several occasions. Beer is served at a bar and wine is served with a dinner. Mild and moderate profanities are repeatedly used along with terms of Deity.

Kerry Bennett is interested in media from both a journalist and parent perspective. Along with authoring articles for several family-oriented publications, she has written for Parent Previews for nearly 10 years. She serves as Vice President of the Alberta Association for Media Awareness. She and her husband Garry have four sons.
