Why Is Delgo Rated PG?
An invading army attacks a village and kills off most of the inhabitants. Characters are stabbed, crushed, imprisoned, kidnapped and attacked by wild animals. During war scenes, soldiers engage in hand-to-hand combat and swordplay while buildings crumble around them. Characters are shot with arrows, impaled and killed in bloodless battles. Numerous corpses are seen. Men gamble on several occasions. Characters drink with dinner. A teen couple kisses. Mild bathroom humor is included.

Kerry Bennett is interested in media from both a journalist and parent perspective. Along with authoring articles for several family-oriented publications, she has written for Parent Previews for nearly 10 years.
