Why Is Beverly Hills Chihuahua 3: Viva la Fiesta! Rated G?
While the movie is lacking in serious content concerns, it still suffers from resorting to silly scenarios and some potty humour to fill up screen time. These include references to “pee-mail;” messages delivered in true doggy fashion by marking one’s territory and waiting for neighbours to come by and sniff. As well, when Uncle Pedro discusses his new love interest with his friends, they eagerly ask “is she fixed?” The puppies also retaliate against a school bully by tugging on his spandex swimsuit to give him a “wedgie”. The bully and other antagonists in the script have foreign accents. Language is limited to a few terms of deity and some name calling. Characters drink wine at social events.
