Why Is Be Kind Rewind Rated PG-13?
Worried about government conspiracies, Jerry attempts to sabotage a power plant. During the process, he is electrocuted and becomes magnetized (including his urine). He is also showed throwing up and urinating in the street. Two characters are caught during a break-in and while defacing public property. Brief sexual dialogue, innuendo and crude comments about bodily functions are included in the script, along with infrequent profanities, vulgarities, and scatological slang. An unintentional overdose of an over-the-counter drug, alcohol use and a home remedy to cause vomiting are shown.
