Why Is Armored Rated PG-13?
Characters are shot, injured with tools (blood is shown), stabbed and engulfed in flames from an explosion. Others are threatened with guns or involved in fistfights. One man commits suicide by jumping from a building. An injured police officer is roughly pulled down a set of metal stairs. Characters are involved in theft, both at work and school. Men smoke and drink, including while on the job. A man ingests pills before starting work. A brief sexual comment is made. A strong, sexual expletive is used in the script, along with frequent profanities and some terms of Deity.

Kerry Bennett is interested in media from both a journalist and parent perspective.
