Why Is Aeon Flux Rated PG-13?
Theron’s character is unrealistically able to subdue various male and female attackers. These fights sequences make up the majority of the plot and involve weapons and body contact. Many “extras” and some main characters are shot with blood shown, blood spatters on the inside of a subway train, and Aeon removes bullets from a bloodied wound. Two scenes imply a sexual encounter, with Theron’s back exposed in one. Surprisingly, no profanities were heard.
