Cameron Diaz plays another character prone to partying and poor choices until she meets her Grandmother in the film In Her Shoes. As well, she lends her voice talents to Princess Fiona in Shrek (I, II and III). Ashton Kutcher takes on the role of an aspiring member of the Coast Guard where he learns about responsibility from The Guardian. His voice can also be heard in the animated movie Open Season.

What Happens in Vegas releases to DVD in either a single-disc version or an Extended Jackpot Edition. Both are presented in widescreen, with audio tracks in 5.1 Dolby Surround (English) and Dolby Surround (Spanish and French). Subtitles are in English and Spanish.
Bonus materials included with the Jackpot Edition are: audio commentary with the director and editor, a gag reel, and three featurettes (Sitting Down with Cameron and Ashton, DVD Extra Time with Zach Galifianakis and From the Law Firm of Stephen J. Hader, Esq.).
What Happens in Vegas is also available on Blu-Ray Disc, which is authored in BD-Java with AVC (MPEG 4 compression) on a dual-layer 50 GB disc, with English 5.1 DTS HD Master Audio, plus Spanish and French Dolby Surround. Subtitles are available in Spanish, French, Korean, Cantonese and Mandarin. This edition offers all of the above-mentioned extras plus deleted and extended scenes, as well as Bottoms Up!
