| How We Determine Our Grades | |
If you haven’t met our heroes before, check out The Incredible Adventures of Wallace and Gromit, which features all three shorts: A Grand Day Out, The Wrong Trousers, and A Close Shave. The genius of Nick Park and Aardman Studios are behind the movie Chicken Run and the TV series available on DVD, Creature Comforts: The Complete First Season. The classic film Harvey also stars a giant rabbit (which Were-Rabbit takes a moment to pay homage to by including a slight gag).
Home Video Extra Features
Hopping onto DVD in either wide or full screen, Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit offers a whole garden worth of bonus pickings, starting with a “cracking commentary” by creator/co-director Nick Park and co-director Steve Box. After you have nibbled at the deleted scenes, you can sink your teeth into the featurettes How Wallace & Gromit Went to Hollywood, and A Day in the Life of Aardman. Other tidbits include Stage Fright (the award-winning short film from director Steve Box), Family Album (a collection of production stills) and Cracking Contraptions (a look at the Snoozatron, the 525 Crackervac, and the Shopper 13). Gamers can make a meal out of the interactive games, Anti-Pesto SWAT Team, Victor Quartermaine’s Guide to Cool, and Style with Lady Toddington. Audio tracks are available in English (Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround and Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo), French (Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround) and Spanish (Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo), with subtitles in English and Spanish.
