Secondhand Lions is another story of two older men who find themselves placed in the position of caregiver to a young nephew (Josh Lucas plays a small role in that movie as well). In the Hallmark film Little John, a young boy tries to find his estranged mother, so she and his grandfather can forgive the hurts that keep them apart.
