How We Determine Our Grades

Although many film sequels are made, few live up to the movies that inspired them. Some exceptions to this rule are Toy Story II and Shrek II.  Be sure to look for the original The Sandlot (1993), and The Great Escape (1963) - the movie that gave the kids the idea of building a tunnel.

Home Video Extra Features

Back at bat (but this time directly to the home market) is The Sandlot II. This sequel of the successful 1993 theatrical movie is offered in both full and wide screen versions with a full-length commentary by writer/director David M. Evans. Extras include three featurettes (The Sandlot Kids: Where are They Now, Our sandlot Days, and Behind-the-Scenes), a game demo for Backyard Baseball, and the original trailer. Audio tracks are available in English (Dolby 5.1) and Spanish (Dolby Surround), with subtitles in English, Spanish, and French.
