Sandra Bullock plays another character caught up in time twists when she falls in love with a man from another era in The Lake House. She also takes on a lighter role as the Chief Council of a high-powered but completely incompetent executive in Two Weeks Notice.

Sony Pictures must have had a Premonition about the film’s disappointing conclusion because they have included an alternate ending on the DVD release of this movie. Other places that may shed some light on the production’s creative choices are the audio commentary with director Mennan Yapo and actress Sandra Bullock, and the optional director’s commentary on some deleted scenes. As well, the disc provides Glimpses of the Future (a making-of featurette), Bringing Order to Chaos and Real Premonitions. Just for fun, the studio has also tossed in a gag reel. Audio tracks are available in Dolby Digital 5.1 (English and French), with subtitles in English, French and Spanish.
