In the movie Second-hand Lions, a young boy learns wisdom for his two elderly uncles when he is left in their care for the summer. The Brooke Ellison Story is about an eleven-year-old girl who struggles to reach her full potential—and even to understand what that phrase means—after a car accident leaves her paralyzed from the neck down. Another teacher mentors his students to “seize the day” in the film Dead Poets Society.
