In August Rush, a woman who was told her child was dead rather than given up for adoption, begins to search for him as soon as the secret is revealed. A poor and solitary man takes in an abandoned baby, and then in an unexpected Simple Twist of Fate finds himself in a custody battle for her care with his wealthy neighbors. A woman goes to elaborate lengths to keep her son from finding out about his real father in Dear Frankie.
