The TV mini-series Roots traces the family tree of African American author Alex Haley. In the movie Smoke Signals, a young Native American man discovers himself when he sets out to find his father and bring home his earthly remains. A grandfather desperately tries to pass on a sense of heritage to his posterity in the film Avalon.
Home Video Extra Features
Not much will be illuminated with the DD release of this movie, which includes only a few deleted scenes as bonus features. Audio tracks are available in English (Dolby Digital 5.1), with subtitles in English, Spanish and French.
