When Alejandro Griffin (Ben Barnes) learns that his birth mother (Patricia Rae), a devout Catholic, will be attending his wedding, the young man begs his adoptive father (Robert De Niro) to pretend he is still married to his ex-wife (Diane Keaton). But the idea of keeping their divorce quiet doesn’t sit well with the second wife (Susan Sarandon).
