Spellbound is a documentary that shows real children and the stresses they encounter while competing in the national spelling bee finals. A father becomes caught up in the spirit of competition when his young son shows an exceptional talent for playing chess in the movie Searching for Bobby Fisher.

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment buzzes about releasing both the wide and full screen versions of Bee Season on one DVD. Fans may be all a flutter over the bonus extras too, which include six deleted scenes and three featurettes: The Essence of Bee Season, the Cutting Room Floor, and the Making of Bee Season. Audio tracks are available in English (Dolby Digital Surround 5.1), with subtitles in English and French.
